What is DRAMATURGY?
Dramaturgy (from the Greek δραματουργία) is the action of creating, composing, staging and representing a drama, turning it into a theatrical show. Its aim is to give the text and the work of the performers a coherent structure.
Because one thing is to tell stories and another is to put them on stage. To do that, we have to transform the narration into dialogues, images and action. And we have to do it improvising.
And all this while we play, speak, think, feel and move alone or together with other people. It seems difficult, right?
I'm not going to lie to you, it is. But by incorporating certain tools and understanding how and when to use them, it will become much easier.
Do you want to improvise better stories?
Then you need good foundations and solid, coherent structure.
In this video course you will learn fundamental notions of improvised dramaturgy to be able to:
How does it work?
Once you sign up for the course, you will have access to the different modules that form the pedagogical proposal. In each module, you will find videos, texts, and exercises connected to each objective.
The most important part is that you will have unlimited access to these resources so you can come back to them whenever you want in your personal area.
Besides, throughout the year, we will offer live sessions on Zoom where you can ask questions, solve doubts and practice some of the exercises with other students.
The main advantage of our video course is that you can take it at your own pace and on your own time.
