who are we?

Global Impro is a project created in 2006 by Feña Ortalli and Marcelo Martín with the aim of building an international community of independent improvisers and impro companies worldwide, to share experiences, organize events, and coordinate efforts in the struggle to place improvised theatre where it truly belongs.

In 2010, the educational branch of the company was launched, and since then we have shared our discoveries and learning in more than 30 countries around the world.

Since 2011, we have produced Status, the world’s most important magazine dedicated to theatrical improvisation. Its pages have featured the leading figures in the field, and it is sent monthly to more than 1,000 people in four languages.

However, the most important work carried out by Global Impro over these years has been the creation of connections and the maintenance of fluid communication and exchange with colleagues from different parts of the world, with the goal of strengthening the sense of unity that we so strongly advocate.
